Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is recruiting a part-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for night-shift coverage in its NICU, located in Modesto, California. DMC is the largest full-service hospital between Stockton and Fresno — a 394-bed acute care facility with a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric unit — offering a clinically rich environment with direct Neonatologist supervision and a broad neonatal caseload. Practice Highlights

- Additional involvement in education, consultation, and research at various levels; may function in a Clinical Nurse Specialist capacity

Qualifications
- Active California Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) license required
- Graduate-level education with supervised clinical experience in the management of sick newborns and their families, consistent with NANN Advanced Practice Nurse standards
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Clinical expertise in neonatal nursing with demonstrated ability to exercise independent clinical judgment in assessment, diagnosis, and procedural management
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift and position up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 50 lbs of force; perform frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching with manual dexterity
