Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, Arizona is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Charge RN in its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This leadership-facing bedside role sits within a 217-bed acute care hospital with a strong obstetrics and neonatal service line, and requires a minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator management. Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona required
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
  • Minimum two years of current Level III NICU clinical experience, including neonatal ventilator management (required for this unit)
  • Current CPR certification required; ACLS as applicable by department
  • Two years of supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Certification in NICU or relevant specialty area of practice preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent clinical and staffing decisions in high-acuity, high-stress situations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience managing departmental budget processes a plus
