Westover Hills Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
  • Minimum two years of acute care nursing experience preferred; background in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU is advantageous
  • Active AHA or ARC Healthcare Provider BLS required at hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
  • AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the NICU role
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (Level 2 Nursery) required — proof of prior completion accepted, or must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer; renewal not required
