The Hospitals of Providence – East Campus in El Paso, Texas is recruiting a full-time Registered Nurse for its Nursery unit, working a permanent night shift schedule. Practice Highlights

  • Full-time, permanent night shift position in the Nursery unit
  • Direct clinical patient care with per-shift responsibility for assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized nursing care
  • Supervisory accountability for staff to whom care is appropriately delegated
  • Accountable to the CNO for high-quality, safe nursing care, clinical staff competency, and appropriate resource management
  • Practice governed by established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • AHA ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP required as applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
  • Recent acute care experience preferred; nursery or neonatal experience is a strong asset
