About the Community
Panama City sits on the Gulf Coast of Northwest Florida with a metro population of approximately 185,000 — large enough to offer a full range of amenities, small enough to maintain a genuine, community-focused character. The city borders St. Andrews Bay, offers proximity to some of the Gulf's most celebrated beaches and dive sites, and is home to St. Andrews State Park, the historic Harrison Avenue arts and dining district, and the annual Panama City Mardi Gras and Music Festival. Economic stability is anchored by Tyndall Air Force Base and a major deep-water port, while the surrounding region delivers world-class fishing, boating, and outdoor recreation year-round — a compelling combination for physicians who want coastal lifestyle without big-city cost of living.
