About this role
A certified Medical Assistant is needed to support a urology clinic at AdventHealth in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation
- Assist with minor urology procedures and ensure accurate documentation at time of service
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and record results in the practice system
- Administer medications and educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions
- Monitor and manage supply inventory and ensure medical equipment is functioning properly
- Maintain OSHA compliance, patient confidentiality, and organizational policy standards
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts
- Ability to work independently within scope of certification in a fast-paced environment
### What's included
- Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hr (~$34,154–$54,642 annually)

The Hendersonville clinic is located at 1 Health Park Drive and serves patients Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The urology team operates within a collaborative, multi-specialty environment supported by AdventHealth's regional resources.
