About this role
A Certified Medical Assistant supports the urology team at Asheville Urological Associates, part of AdventHealth, in Asheville, North Carolina.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation.
- Assist with minor urology procedures and document findings accurately at the time of service.
- Administer medications, initiate diagnostic testing, and record results in the practice management system.
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions during office visits.
- Monitor inventory and maintain medical equipment to support uninterrupted clinic operations.
- Travel as needed to support staffing across clinic locations.
### What we're looking for
- Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with medical terminology, chronic disease concepts, and EMR/computer systems.
- Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hr (~$34,154–$54,642 annually).
