About the Community

Phoenix anchors one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the United States, with a city population of 1.6 million and a metro population of 4.8 million — a scale that supports world-class dining, professional sports, arts, and cultural events alongside a subtropical desert climate with year-round sunshine. Outdoor enthusiasts have immediate access to Northern Arizona mountain recreation, California beaches, and Mexico, while families benefit from excellent public and private schools and the academic resources of ASU, University of Arizona, NAU, and Creighton University School of Medicine. Cost of living remains competitive relative to comparable major metros, and the region's continued growth translates directly into expanding patient demand for subspecialty care.
