A full-time night-shift Labor & Delivery RN role at Texas Health Mansfield, part of the AdventHealth system, located in Mansfield, Texas.
### What you'll do
- Assist with newborn care at deliveries, providing immediate assessment and support during and after birth.
- Maintain and apply neonatal resuscitation skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Perform assessment of high- and low-risk obstetrical patients to identify risks and developing health issues.
- Identify and report maternal and newborn problems to the attending physician in a timely manner.
- Accurately identify, band, and document newborns, mothers, and support persons in the medical record.
- Coordinate and assist with safe transfers of newborns to other facilities when clinically indicated.
### What we're looking for
- Active Texas RN license required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- Neonatal Medicine certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of acute nursing experience preferred.

Texas Health Mansfield is a community hospital located at 2300 Lonestar Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063, operating under the AdventHealth mission of whole-person care. The Labor & Delivery unit operates on a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift schedule, supporting both routine and high-risk obstetrical patients.
