OB Hospitalist Physician – Louisville, CO

AdventHealth Medical Group, Rocky Mountain Region is recruiting a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician to join the Labor & Delivery unit at AdventHealth Avista in Louisville, CO. ### What you'll do - Serve as the primary backup for delivering OB physicians and midwives across a unit averaging 180–200 deliveries per month. - Provide care for all unassigned patients presenting to the L&D unit and the ED, including precipitous deliveries when the primary provider is not on campus. - Respond to all OB emergencies, including postpartum hemorrhage, shoulder dystocia, and emergent (Level I) C-sections. - Assist with C-sections as needed and assume care for patients signed out by delivering providers. - Monitor fetal tracings, attend strip rounds, and participate in drills and ongoing educational activities. - Manage select gynecologic emergencies and maintain on-deck, in-house presence for the duration of each shift. ### What we're looking for - Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. - Minimum 3 years of clinical experience; new graduates are not eligible. - Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado. - Current Colorado DEA licensure. - Availability for 7 shifts per month, each 24 hours in duration, with mandatory in-house presence. - Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-first approach to safety and evidence-based care. ### What's included - $20,000 sign-on bonus. - Medical, dental, and vision coverage effective from day one. - 403(b)/457(b) retirement plan with employer contribution and match. - CME allowance up to $3,000 annually for single-boarded physicians. - PTO plan and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Relocation assistance and reimbursement of Colorado state licensure costs. - Malpractice coverage provided; teaching and research opportunities available. ### About the practice AdventHealth Medical Group, Rocky Mountain Region operates 27 primary care clinics and 5 hospitals across the Denver Metro Area, with EPIC integrated across all locations.
