A PRN night-shift Labor & Delivery RN role at AdventHealth Fish Memorial, located in Orange City, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans aligned with interdisciplinary goals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans based on assessed learning needs
- Perform safe, timely handoff communication and documentation in alignment with hospital policy for admission, discharge, and transfer
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected throughout the care continuum
- Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply appropriate PPE, and enforce safety regulations on the unit
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required); NRP preferred
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in obstetrical or perinatal nursing preferred
- Prior hospital-based perinatal nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, delegation, communication, and interpersonal skills
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (annualized approximately $65,582–$108,659 based on 2,080 hours)
- PRN/per-diem scheduling with night shift availability
