A rare opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join MidLantic Urology (MLU) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — one of the Northeast's most dynamic and growing urology-integrated oncology practices. This employed position comes with a clear partnership track, an established and thriving patient base ready to inherit, and the full operational backing of a nationally scaled, physician-led network. Philadelphia's "Eds and Meds" economy and 6.2-million-person metro catchment create a stable, high-demand environment for subspecialty oncology care.

Perks and Benefits

  • Generous financial package (specific figures available upon inquiry)
  • Signing bonus provided at time of hire
  • Relocation allowance included
  • Annual CME allowance with dedicated support for continuing professional development
  • Employed position with a defined partnership track — path to equity and local ownership
  • Local clinical autonomy supported by national-scale infrastructure including analytics, revenue cycle, compliance, and operational services
  • Physician-led governance structure: Physician Executive Committee, Regional Clinical Governance Boards, and Local Head Physician roles preserve clinical decision-making at the practice level

Practice Highlights

  • Integrated radiation oncology role embedded within a well-established, multi-physician urology group — MidLantic Urology — with an existing, thriving patient base to inherit from day one
  • Collaborative team environment working alongside urologists and physician assistants in a coordinated, multidisciplinary care model
  • Private practice setting with the resources of a national physician-led network (Urology Alliance) — not a hospital employment model
  • Management Services Organization (MSO) infrastructure handles administrative burden: technology, data analytics, revenue cycle management, and compliance support are centralized nationally
  • Practice positioned for continued regional growth within a metro area of approximately 6.2 million and a robust life sciences and healthcare sector
  • Physician leadership is structural — clinical decisions remain with clinicians, not administrators
  • Access to national data insights and outcomes tracking to support quality improvement and practice development

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology required
  • Completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Strong foundation in comprehensive radiation oncology care, with experience or interest in genitourinary oncology preferred given the urology-integrated practice setting
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with urologists, APPs, and multidisciplinary oncology teams
  • Commitment to patient-centered, outcomes-driven practice

About the Community

Philadelphia is the first World Heritage City in the United States and home to one of the largest landscaped urban park systems in the world, including the expansive Fairmount Park, alongside iconic landmarks such as Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. The city's "neighborhoods" layout keeps daily life walkable and community-oriented despite a metro population of 6.2 million, and its cultural depth — from the world-renowned Philadelphia Orchestra and the Reading Terminal Market to a nationally recognized mural arts program — gives it a character unlike any other major American city. Situated at the heart of the Northeast Corridor, Philadelphia offers easy access to New York City and Washington, D.C., elite academic institutions, a booming life sciences industry, and a cost of living that remains competitive relative to comparable East Coast metros.
