AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Radiation/Oncology clinic in Clinton, North Carolina.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the practice management system
- Administer medications, collect labs, and assist with minor procedures associated with oncology specialty
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet with clear, accurate instructions
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment
- Travel as needed to support staffing needs and clinic operations across sites
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ year of related medical assistant work experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with medical terminology, chronic disease management concepts, and EHR/computer systems
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and work independently within certification scope

- Hourly pay range: $16.42–$26.27 ($34,154–$54,642 annualized)
