A Radiation Therapist opportunity is available at AdventHealth Sebring, a faith-based health system located in Sebring, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Evaluate prescribed imaging and document treatment information accurately in the patient electronic record using the record and verify system
- Review all new patient starts for consistency, verifying positioning, field orientation, prescription parameters, doses, treatment accessories, and monitor units
- Perform morning Quality Assurance on the treatment unit, assessing equipment operation per physics policy and escalating malfunctions promptly
- Participate in after-hours on-call coverage, perform 2D treatment calculations, and operate with minimal supervision as required
- Assist with maintaining department supplies and provide supervised clinical education experiences for radiation therapy students
### What we're looking for
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiation Therapy program (required)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R) ARRT) (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- 1+ year of radiation therapy experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and record and verify systems
- Knowledge of anatomical structures for localization and technical ability to execute treatment plans designed by Radiation Oncologists
