About this role
An Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (Outpatient) is needed at AdventHealth's AH Cancer Institute in Orlando, Florida, delivering radiation oncology and infusion nursing care on a Mon–Fri 4×10-hour day shift schedule.
### What you'll do
- Perform and document nursing procedures, admission assessments, and pain screenings in accordance with department policy.
- Administer treatments and medications, interpret and verify physician orders, and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
- Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress across oncology and radiation oncology clinical pathways.
- Apply PACU, pre-, and post-anesthesia knowledge as required within the outpatient cancer care setting.
- Respond appropriately in clinical emergencies and escalate questionable situations per protocol.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, including sensitive end-of-life topics, using tactful, patient-centered communication.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license and current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Oncology clinical experience required; 1+ year acute care and/or oncology experience preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation oncology clinical pathways and PACU/pre- and post-anesthesia care.
- Computer proficiency and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

The outpatient cancer institute supports a multidisciplinary oncology team serving patients across the greater Orlando region.
