This is a dual-setting role spanning both clinic and hospital environments, embedded within a private practice model that pairs genuine clinical autonomy with the operational and administrative support of a national urology network. Bastrop offers a small-city lifestyle with easy access to Austin — an ideal fit for an APP who wants meaningful urology scope without the pace of a major academic center.

  • National-scale infrastructure support covering revenue cycle, compliance, analytics, and operations — reducing administrative burden on clinical staff
  • Flexible scheduling aligned with practice and operational needs
  • Continuing education and credentialing support to maintain good standing at all assigned facilities
  • Inclusive, equitable work environment with stated organizational commitment to diversity
  • Pre-employment background check required; all offers contingent on successful completion

  • Part of Urology Austin, a member practice of Urology Alliance — a physician-led national urology network with shared clinical governance through a Physician Executive Committee and Regional Clinical Governance Boards
  • Clinical decision-making remains physician-led at every level; the MSO support structure is designed to enable, not manage, clinical staff
  • Practice growth trajectory supported by national data insights and operational infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Active Texas state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Urology experience strongly preferred; candidates with relevant procedural or clinical urology exposure are prioritized

About the Community

Bastrop sits along the Colorado River approximately 30 miles southeast of Austin, offering a genuine small-town character with direct access to one of the country's most dynamic metro areas. The region is known for its Lost Pines ecosystem — a rare stand of loblolly pines in Central Texas — along with state park trails, river recreation, and a historic downtown. Cost of living is meaningfully lower than Austin proper, and the commute corridor makes it practical to access Austin's cultural, culinary, and professional amenities while living in a quieter, community-oriented setting.
