About the Community

Orange City sits in Volusia County in Central Florida, positioned between DeLand and Deltona and approximately 30–40 minutes from Orlando and the Atlantic coast beaches — offering genuine access to both urban amenities and natural Florida without the price tag of coastal or metro markets. The area is home to Blue Spring State Park, renowned for crystal-clear spring swimming, kayaking, hiking, and winter manatee sightings along the St. Johns River, making outdoor recreation a daily reality rather than a weekend trip. Housing costs run meaningfully below Orlando and beachside communities, with a range of established neighborhoods and newer developments, and families benefit from Volusia County Schools, nearby private and charter options, and higher education institutions including Stetson University in DeLand and Daytona State College within easy commuting distance.
