<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required</li> <li>Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification required — or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire</li> <li>Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required at time of hire or obtainable within 30 days of hire</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology; basic computer literacy and intermediate Excel proficiency required</li> <li>Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations</li> <li>Tuberculosis screening and documented immunity (via lab confirmation, vaccination record, or physician diagnosis) to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis required prior to start</li> <li>1+ years of Medical Assistant experience preferred</li> <li>Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred</li> </ul>
