<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required</li> <li>Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification required — or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire</li> <li>Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required at hire or obtainable within 30 days of hire</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer literacy, including intermediate proficiency in Excel</li> <li>Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations</li> <li>Tuberculosis screening and documented immunity (via lab confirmation, vaccination record, or physician diagnosis) to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis required prior to start</li> <li>Pre-employment drug screening required</li> <li>Preferred: 1 or more years of Medical Assistant experience; knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding; bilingual English/Spanish fluency</li> </ul>
