<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Clinic hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no evenings, weekends, or holidays</li> <li>Outpatient primary care setting focused on delivering the highest standard of medical care to all patients</li> <li>Clinical duties include assisting physicians and nursing staff with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and a range of patient care procedures</li> <li>Responsible for accurate, timely documentation and processing of patient care records</li> <li>Active role in care coordination per physician direction and established clinical protocols</li> <li>Exam and treatment room management: stocking, cleaning, and instrument sterilization to maintain quality control standards</li> <li>Team-based environment with physicians, nursing personnel, and clinical support staff working in close collaboration</li> <li>Performance-oriented culture with defined expectations and structured feedback for role success</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or registration required — or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire</li> <li>Current CPR and/or BLS certification required — or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology</li> <li>Tuberculosis screening and documented immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis required prior to start</li> <li>Preferred: 1+ years of Medical Assistant or related clinical experience</li> <li>Preferred: ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience</li> <li>Preferred: Microsoft Office proficiency</li> <li>Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish fluency — a meaningful asset given the regional patient population</li> </ul>
