<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required</li> <li>Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or registration required — or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire</li> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross) required — or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire</li> <li>1+ years of Medical Assistant or related medical-setting experience preferred</li> <li>ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience preferred</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft applications preferred</li> <li>Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated phlebotomy skills preferred</li> </ul>
