About this role
AdventHealth Gordon seeks a full-time Polysomnographic Technologist I for night-shift sleep lab coverage at its Calhoun, Georgia facility.
### What you'll do
- Perform polysomnography procedures per physician orders, department policies, and individualized patient care plans, adapting equipment and testing protocols to capture quality diagnostic data.
- Conduct thorough pre-study patient assessments, identify special medical conditions, and take appropriate action to maintain patient safety throughout the study.
- Maintain accurate billing records, clinical documentation, and strict patient confidentiality in accordance with hospital standards.
- Educate patients and families on sleep study procedures, tailoring communication strategies to address vision, hearing, or cognitive limitations.
- Participate in department meetings, continuing education activities, and performance improvement initiatives.
### What we're looking for
- RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) credential — required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a sleep technologist.
- High school diploma or equivalent — required.
- Ability to work 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) with no on-call obligation.
