About this role
A Certified Medical Assistant joins AdventHealth's Obstetrics & Gynecology clinic in Chatsworth, Georgia, providing direct patient care and clinical support across the full scope of outpatient OB/GYN services.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation
- Assist with minor procedures specific to OB/GYN and document results accurately at the time of service
- Administer medications, collect labs, initiate testing, and close care gaps during patient visits
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet with clear, accurate instructions
- Maintain OSHA compliance, safety processes, and confidentiality of patient and staff information
- Monitor and manage supply inventory and ensure medical equipment is functioning properly
### What we're looking for
- Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts
- Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment
