A Medical Assistant (MA or CMA) is needed at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth's OB/GYN clinic located at 908 N Elm Street, Hinsdale, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor OB/GYN procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Administer medications, initiate testing, and document results in the designated EHR system - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Maintain OSHA compliance, office safety processes, and confidentiality of patient and staff information - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment to support clinic operations ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Active MA certification: CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required; non-certified candidates must obtain certification after hire) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and function independently within scope - 1+ year of medical assistant experience preferred; OB/GYN clinic experience a plus ### What's included - Pay range: $17.47–$29.62/hour (~$36,338–$61,610 annually) - Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is a faith-based health system serving communities across the Midwest with a mission centered on whole-person care.
