AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time, night-shift Assistant Nurse Manager for its Labor and Delivery unit in Celebration, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Lead nursing staff on the Labor and Delivery unit in delivering safe, high-quality patient care across night shifts
- Perform venous access procedures and administer and monitor infusion therapy within RN scope of practice
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy
- Drive performance improvement initiatives on the unit, using critical thinking to optimize clinical operations
- Manage unit-level business functions including financial practices and productivity monitoring
- Mentor and support staff in the use of clinical technology deployed on the unit
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — required
- BLS and ACLS certifications — required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience preferred
- 1+ year of acute care nursing experience preferred
- NRP-A or S.T.A.B.L.E. certification a plus for this Labor and Delivery setting
