An OB/GYN Ultrasound Technologist (PRN) role at AdventHealth is available at their South Asheville location in Arden, North Carolina.
### What you'll do
- Perform ultrasound imaging exams on patients across all age groups, maintaining high-quality diagnostic results.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment proficiently, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and report issues promptly.
- Monitor and manage daily workflow, including patient communication, transportation, and discharge.
- Follow infection control standards and handle pharmaceutical waste per established protocols.
- Educate and train new technologists and students on imaging procedures and equipment use.
### What we're looking for
- Completion of an approved medical sonography program from an accredited technical or vocational school.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or private practice setting.
- Active maintenance of all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures.
- Proficiency (or ability to learn) radiology software including IDX, Radworks, and current PACS applications.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing continuing education and annual training requirements.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range of $25.02–$46.54 (approximately $52,042–$96,803 annualized).
- PRN/per-diem scheduling with day shifts.
