About this role

AdventHealth Tampa Women's Center is hiring a full-time night-shift Patient Care Technician for its Women's Care Surgical unit at 3100 E Fletcher Ave, Tampa, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform treatments per policy, delivering age-, mobility-, acuity-, and culturally appropriate patient care under the direction of a registered nurse - Assist in obtaining nursing histories and report abnormal findings to the RN promptly - Function appropriately during clinical emergencies and participate in performance-improvement initiatives - Follow isolation protocols, apply personal protective equipment correctly, and enforce unit safety regulations - Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy - Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff while communicating effectively with patients, families, and the care team ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - One of the following active credentials: CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT (required) - At least 1 year of PCT or equivalent patient-care experience (preferred) - Prior bedside experience in an acute care unit, unit secretary role, or monitor technician role (preferred) - Demonstrated ability to learn continuously and adapt to practice changes ### What's included - Pay range: $15.87–$25.38/hr ($33,010–$52,790 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being programs, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa Women's Center is a dedicated women's and surgical inpatient facility within the AdventHealth system, one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
