About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Mother Baby unit, located in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors for postpartum patients and newborns.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and evidence-based standards.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and the broader care team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions and maintaining compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Minimum 1 year of Mother Baby hospital experience (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and electronic medical records.
### What's included
- Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hr (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized).
- $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hires; relocation allowance available for eligible candidates.
