About this role

AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a contract RN for its Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit on night shift in Castle Rock, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of LDRP patients across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases. - Conduct thorough, ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals. - Implement plan-of-care interventions safely and document all actions in a timely manner. - Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel using professional judgment and discretion. - Facilitate patient admission, discharge, and transfer in alignment with hospital policy to support timely placement. ### What we're looking for - Active RN license in Colorado (or compact eligibility). - Minimum 2 years of labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. - Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certifications — all required. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based programs and strong written and verbal English communication. ### What's included - Competitive premium pay rate of $87.50/hr on a 36-hour/week, 13-week contract. - Direct employment with AdventHealth — no third-party agency. - Flexible contract assignments with extension or new assignment support within the AdventHealth system. - Option to convert to permanent staff at contract conclusion. - Night shift schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM. ### About the practice AdventHealth Castle Rock is a community hospital serving the rapidly growing Castle Rock, Colorado area as part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based not-for-profit health network.
