About this role
AdventHealth Tampa Women's Center is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Women's Care Unit on the day shift at its Tampa, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans for women's health patients.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting outcomes in the medical record.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and the broader care team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions as needed.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members to maintain quality and efficiency across the unit.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract clinical reasoning skills.
