AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Women's Care Unit in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and maintaining accurate medical record documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and the care team to coordinate safe, efficient patient care.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and supervising delegated care across the unit.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- Preferred certifications include NRP, STABLE, CLC, and CCNS.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with proficiency in EKG interpretation per unit requirements.
