About this role
AdventHealth Tampa Women's Center is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Women's Care Unit at its Tampa, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Assess patients' biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs and develop comprehensive, multidisciplinary care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders and nursing policies.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations per protocol, applying NRP and BLS skills as required.
- Manage patient transitions through the system, coordinating with post-hospital care providers and community health resources through discharge.
- Document patient care thoroughly, including drug allergies, lab data, diagnostic tests, and patient education.
- Maintain a safe patient environment and provide feedback and instruction to staff to support care quality and adherence to nursing standards.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and BLS certification required.
- ACLS and S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred.
- 2+ years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- 2+ years of labor and delivery experience preferred.
