About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN on a StaffFlex contract basis at its Celebration, Florida hospital campus.
### What you'll do
- Deliver coordinated, compassionate nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation phases.
- Conduct thorough, ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Implement care plan interventions safely and in a timely manner, with complete and accurate documentation.
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel using professional judgment and independent clinical decision-making.
- Facilitate patient admission, discharge, and transfer in accordance with hospital policy to support timely patient placement.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
- Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC) preferred.
- Strong abstract reasoning skills and proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.
