Certified Medical Assistant OBGYN

AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its OB/GYN clinic located at 15 Skyland Inn Drive in Arden, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor OB/GYN procedures and ensure accurate documentation at time of service - Administer medications, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the practice management system - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear and accurate guidance - Monitor and manage medical supply inventory and ensure equipment is functioning - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active medical assistant certification: CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology, chronic disease management concepts, and EHR/computer systems - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hour ($34,154–$54,642 annualized) - Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 - Relocation assistance up to $5,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
