About this role

AdventHealth Avista is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit in Louisville, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for LDRP patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA required. - EKG competency per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hour (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized). - $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. - Relocation allowance available to eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan and career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Avista is a full-service community hospital located in Louisville, Colorado, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health systems in the country.
