AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Labor and Delivery unit in Castle Rock, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for L&D patients.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain effective communication across the care team.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- EKG competency per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
### What's included
- Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hour (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized).
