About this role

AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Labor and Delivery unit in Castle Rock, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for L&D patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain effective communication across the care team. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado. - Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. - EKG competency per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes. ### What's included - Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hour (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized). - $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. - Relocation allowance available to eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan and career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Castle Rock is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with more than 50 hospital campuses across the United States.
