AdventHealth Avista is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Mother Baby unit in Louisville, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, and sociocultural factors for postpartum patients and newborns.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and following hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and the broader care team to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and maintaining accurate, timely medical record documentation.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience (required).
- Associate of Nursing degree (required); Bachelor of Nursing degree (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Fluency in English with basic computer proficiency in Windows-based programs.

- Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hour ($71,261–$123,219 annualized).
