AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a PRN Chaplain for weekend and on-call night coverage at its hospital in Rome, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Assess and address the spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff as part of holistic, whole-person care.
- Provide compassionate, attentive listening and personalized emotional and spiritual support during illness and critical decision-making.
- Respond to crises including code blues, collaborating with care teams to support patients and families in acute moments.
- Document chaplaincy care and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Mentor chaplain interns and residents as part of the clinical pastoral education program.
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in spiritual care, arts, or equivalent from an accredited college, university, or faith-body institution (required).
- Completion of deacon training and ordination, or equivalent vocational/technical credential (required).
- Valid driver's license (required).
- Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) credential (preferred).
- 1+ year of pastoral ministry experience (preferred).
- Must reside within 30 minutes of AdventHealth Redmond to fulfill on-call obligations.
### What's included
- Pay range: $25.13–$46.74/hour (approximately $52,270–$97,219 annualized at full-time equivalent).
- PRN/on-call role with primary weekend coverage beginning Friday at 5 PM.
- Shifts include a minimum two-hour rounding period with the remainder on-call.
