About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Labor and Delivery unit at its Orlando, Florida campus (Lake Nona / Narcoossee Road). ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for L&D patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and current standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the unit. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida RN license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications (all required). - 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (annualized approximately $65,582–$108,659). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of AdventHealth's growing Orlando-area network, offering emergency services, urgent care, primary care, imaging, orthopedics, and sports medicine.
