AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for Women's Services on the night shift at its Orlando, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Supervise nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and execute improvement plans to maintain clinical and professional standards.
- Identify training needs, organize educational programs, and mentor staff to support career development and skill advancement.
- Facilitate prompt conflict resolution among team members using mediation techniques to sustain a cohesive work environment.
- Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing outcomes data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
- Oversee financial practices and productivity management on the unit, applying critical thinking to daily operations.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- BLS (CPR), ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
- 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience preferred.
- 1+ year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to apply broad clinical knowledge to lead unit operations and influence team behaviors.
