About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a part-time Night Shift Assistant Nurse Manager for its Women's Services unit in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Supervise nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical and professional standards. - Identify training needs, organize educational programs, and mentor staff to support skill development and career growth. - Mediate staff conflicts promptly to preserve a cohesive, positive work environment. - Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. - Manage unit business operations including financial practices and productivity monitoring. - Communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, whole-person care. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS and ACLS certifications required. - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required. - 1+ year of charge nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred. - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience preferred. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hr (approximately $70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Career development and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of a comprehensive care network serving the growing Lake Nona community in Orlando, offering emergency services, urgent care, primary care, specialists, imaging, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. A new 60-acre health and wellness campus is slated to open in late 2026, expanding the system's capacity for next-generation whole-person care. This Women's Services unit operates on a part-time schedule of two 12-hour night shifts per week with weekend rotation.
