AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a PRN night-shift Labor & Delivery RN with critical care skills at its Tampa, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive obstetric and critical care patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly
- Respond to life-threatening situations using established critical care protocols and advanced life support skills
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality maternal and neonatal care
- Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in real time within the EMR
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff while participating in unit-level quality improvement initiatives
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license and current BLS certification (required)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Critical care competency as defined by the Labor & Delivery unit
- AWHONN, NRP-A, FCCS, or TNCC certification preferred
- EKG interpretation skills; Basic EKG Certification preferred
- Experience with Cerner or EPIC EMR preferred
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (annualized $65,582–$108,659 at 2,080 hours)
- PRN/per-diem scheduling with night shifts
