About this role
A Physician Practice Clinical Coordinator is needed at AdventHealth's OB/GYN outpatient practice located at 505 Oakfield Dr, Brandon, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Review patient charts proactively to identify gaps in care, insurance, orders, coding, and referrals
- Manage patient care by monitoring the Inbasket, lab and radiology results, scheduling, and phone communication with patients
- Assess and validate clinical staff competency in tasks such as administering injections, phlebotomy, and patient rooming
- Lead daily huddles using Daily Management Boards and support workflow optimization across physicians, APPs, and clinical staff
- Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, procedural scheduling, and supply inventory management
- Precept new clinical staff through skill validation and contribute to development conversations
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent plus technical/vocational training (required)
- 3+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
- Active BLS/CPR certification
- One of the following credentials: LPN, CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office
- Strong multitasking, triage, and patient communication skills
