AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a PRN Obstetrical RN for night-shift coverage at its inpatient OB unit in Zephyrhills, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform thorough, ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and strict adherence to protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans tailored to assessed learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff to coordinate safe and timely care.
- Maintain compliance with CDC isolation guidelines, PPE standards, and hand-hygiene policies.
- Ensure safe handoff communication and documentation at every transition of care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required); NRP certification (preferred).
- Prior hospital or perinatal/obstetrical nursing experience (preferred).
- Strong assessment, delegation, coordination, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based clinical systems.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $31.53 – $52.24 (equivalent to approximately $65,582 – $108,659 annualized at full-time hours).
