About this role

A part-time, night-shift Certified Surgical Technologist role supporting Labor and Delivery procedures at AdventHealth Lake Nona in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Anticipate surgeon needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each procedure. - Assemble all required supplies, equipment, and medications prior to each case. - Monitor aseptic technique across the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks. - Maintain quality standards while supporting cost-savings and containment practices. - Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to support patient and employee satisfaction. ### What we're looking for - Active State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), NBSTSA CST, or NCCT TS-C certification — one of these is required. - Current BLS/CPR certification. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical/vocational training in Surgical Technology preferred. - Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. - 1–2 years of relevant surgical tech experience preferred. - Proficiency in aseptic/sterile technique and surgical instrumentation, including Labor and Delivery settings. ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour ($44,845–$83,387 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of AdventHealth's established comprehensive care network in the growing Lake Nona community of Orlando, offering emergency services, specialist care, imaging, orthopedics, and surgery.
