About this role
A Certified Surgical Technologist supports Labor and Delivery surgical procedures on the night shift at AdventHealth Lake Nona, a comprehensive health system campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Anticipate surgeon needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each procedure
- Assemble all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to each case
- Monitor aseptic technique across the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks
- Maintain high standards in cost savings and supply containment
- Support patient and staff satisfaction by maintaining collaborative relationships with physicians, management, and interdepartmental teams
### What we're looking for
- Active CST credential (State of Florida), NBSTSA CST, or NCCT TS-C certification required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- 1+ years of relevant surgical tech experience preferred; 2+ years preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic/sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
- Strong anticipatory, communication, and multitasking skills

AdventHealth Lake Nona is expanding with a 60-acre health and wellness campus opening in late 2026, designed around comprehensive whole-person care including emergency services, surgical specialties, imaging, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. The Lake Nona location serves a growing Orlando community with an integrated network of specialists and ancillary services.
