About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist for its Labor and Delivery unit at the Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Anticipate surgeon needs and keep the circulating nurse informed of supply and equipment status throughout each procedure. - Assemble all required instruments, supplies, and medications prior to each case. - Apply aseptic and sterile technique to maintain a safe surgical field during L&D procedures. - Hand surgeons the correct instruments and tools in real time based on dictated instructions. - Support cost-containment standards by facilitating efficient use of supplies and equipment. - Maintain collaborative working relationships with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments. ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a Surgical Technologist: CST (State or NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) required. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical/vocational training preferred. - Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. - 1+ years of relevant surgical tech experience preferred; 2+ years preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and human anatomy. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $21.56–$40.09 (approximately $44,845–$83,387 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development and whole-person well-being resources, including mental health support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of a comprehensive care network in the fast-growing Lake Nona corridor of Orlando, offering emergency services, specialist care, imaging, orthopedics, and rehabilitation.
