About this role

AdventHealth Waterman is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Obstetrical Unit on the night shift in Tavares, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on patient response - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical standards - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training, feedback, and structured professional development - Resolve staff conflicts promptly using mediation techniques to sustain a cohesive team environment - Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting body, and hospital policies ### What we're looking for - Active RN license (required); BSN preferred - BLS/CPR certification (required) - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience (preferred) - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience (preferred) - NRP-A or S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred for the OB unit context - Strong critical thinking, financial/productivity management awareness, and EHR proficiency ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hr (~$70,699–$131,498 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Waterman is a full-service community hospital located in Tavares, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
