AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida is hiring a PRN night-shift Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery unit.
### What you'll do
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting all interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans based on assessed learning needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support safe, timely patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Perform safe handoff communication and adhere to CDC isolation guidelines, appropriate PPE use, and hand hygiene protocols.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected throughout the care continuum.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
- Prior hospital or perinatal/obstetrical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
### What's included
- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
- PRN/per-diem scheduling flexibility on night shift.
