A PRN night-shift Labor and Delivery RN role at AdventHealth South Orlando, located in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for L&D patients.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills with the ability to function as a team member.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range of $31.53 – $52.24 (annualized approximately $65,582 – $108,659 based on 2,080 hours).
- PRN scheduling with night shifts.
